If women see themselves as free, dignified, human beings just as good as men, can Trump hang it up and just lose in a landslide at last? How can men who like and respect women help improve womens' self-esteem?

If women see themselves as free, dignified, human beings just as good as men, can Trump hang it up and just lose in a landslide at last? How can men who like and respect women help improve womens' self-esteem?

Some women, like many people, are seeing the political subterfuge by the Democrat Party. Trying to get him taken off ballots, several court cases, and two assassination attempts. Any by themselves are bad, but it's literally been one thing after another. One plan starts failing, and another plan starts the next day. The constant use of debunked facts and blatant misinformation. The only people still talking about Project 2025 are Democrats.

So, there's multiple reasons.

Women are not a monolith. They can choose whichever candidate matches their views. Kamala isn't the women's choice just because she's a woman. At least, that shouldn't be your sole reason.

Then some women are looking at each other. Celebrities doing free political ads, propaganda videos on TikTok, trend videos. It's all so desperate and performative. They're seeing how women have been treated the last decade in regards to trans rights. Being demonized for being white and/or biological women. They're seeing fellow Democrats and liberals lashing out at everyone that tries to disagree or just ask questions.

Some women are seeing Kamala's campaign scrambling to secure demographics. She has difficulty answering questions off-script, can't answer simple questions she should already be prepared for, and has been documented changing accents to pander to audiences. Obama had to go out try and talk to black men. The Men for Kamala commercial that only hit with women. Ben Stiller being cringe in his endorsement video. Then the strange tactics with a commercial about porn, a Madden video, and her Fortnite map.

You ask why some don't make a choice you say should bring self-respect while Democrsts are debasing themselves for the party line. There's even videos of how they're going to hide their political views if Trump wins because they're afraid Republicans will do to them what they've been doing to Republicans for a decade.

I’m wondering about attachment and transference with the therapist and the idea of escape and fantasy? How much do you think your strong feelings, constant thoughts, desires to be with your therapist are a way to escape from your present life? I wonder if the transference serves another purpose than to show us our wounds and/or past experiences, but is a present coping strategy for managing what we don’t want to face (even if unconsciously) in the present—-current relationships, life circumstances, etc. Can anyone relate to this concept of escape in relation to their therapy relationship? How does this play out for you?
